ok I just linked my account with another account to get the rocket and it says that it's linked and that it did show as upgraded. now I wanted to test it by summoning my lvl 1 undead. it doesn't have the option to do so!!! I'm in undercity so it's not like I'm trying to summon her to dalaran or something that she doesn't have.

Hm. I have a couple questions for you, Safina. :)

Are both characters in the same party? Have you exited the game completely since recruiting the account?

Q u o t e:
If I understand it right, summoning only works with characters under level 60. So, if your level 80 is the one trying to summon, they wouldn't be able to since they are over level 60.

Also, I don't think you can summon characters higher level than the character you are trying to summon with.

Just to be clear, there are level restrictions when it comes to summoning, but I believe you may have them backwards in this case, Selenic. A character that is level 61 or higher cannot be summoned, but they are able to summon characters under level 60. :)

As is stated within the Recruit-a-Friend FAQ:

Q u o t e:
Are there any limits on when and where I can summon my friend?

You may summon a recruit character once every hour; recruit characters may also summon you on a one-hour cooldown. Although the ability to be summoned ceases at level 61, characters of this level or above may still summon their friends as long as the summoning target is level 60 or lower.

Note: Characters on accounts which are not BC- or WotLK-enabled may not be summoned to BC- or WotLK-specific zones. These include Blood Elf, Draenei, and Death Knight starting areas, as well as the whole of Outland and Northrend.

Use your paladin to invite the new character, Safina. The social and trade restrictions will remain on the account for up to 72 hours after the online upgrade, so this character may not be able to chat, invite, or trade until a full 72 hours have passed.

yeah I did that. but I still don't have the options that a linked account should have (I should know I did this with my brother last year). there are no options to summon nor give a level. they are both under 60.... but the account clearly states in the management that they are linked. I want the rocket and I REALLY don't want to mess this up T.T.
and I just killed something with the lower toon and she got 1xp. yeah she is not getting the bonus either >>

What is the name and realm of the level 1 character, Safina?

I'm afraid that you're logging into the incorrect account, Safina. Kalimaa is found on an account that was not created using Recruit-a-Friend, and has yet to be upgraded. It seems the account you're wanting to log into is attached to the same Battle.net account as the one you're using to post on the forums. When you log into the game, are you presented with an option to log into WoW1 as well as your current account?

yeah it is... but I didn;t do it that way. I put another email address and everything. I don't get why it put my second account with my main one. This is a disaster! I pretty much wasted my game key... T.T

I pretty much wasted my game key... T.T and why does my recruit a friend on my account management tell me that I did upgrade it right then?

The account that is attached to your current Battle.net account is upgraded and is the Recruit-a-Friend account. It's likely that you were logged into Battle.net when you clicked the link within the Recruit-a-Friend email which thereby created the account on the Battle.net account you were logged into.

so if I were to buy the game cards right now for the two months, would I get the rocket as it is now or would I have to call customer service to get the accounts seperated first? calling tends to be a long or even hang up and try again later type of deal..

You will still get the rocket mount if you added the game time to the WoW1 account attached to your current Battle.net account. In fact, you'll be able to take advantage of the Recruit-a-Friend promotion fully, even if it's attached to your Battle.net account. The only difference having the two accounts on separate Battle.net accounts would be that you need log into the accounts using two separate Battle.net accounts instead of one. :)

Kalimaa can be accessed by logging into the Battle.net account that ends with a "1," correct?

The Battle.net account you're currently logging into to post on the Customer Service forum is different from the Battle.net account Kalimaa is found upon.
