This is ridiculous.

Ive opened a ticket and others has too, A week ago blizzard said they would look into a ticket regarding a very vulgar and plain name in my guild. It has been a week and it is still there. I know other people have made petitions for his name too. Im very frustruated seeing that same name every time I log in, still not changed at all.

No, the words are extremely vulgar and if that name is allowed any name could be allowed. He just got online and it is still there.

Unfortunately, Maeona, when reporting the character you didn't make mention that the first letter of the name is a capitalized "i". We are usually unable to look into all the variables of a name and only look for the name that you report. It seems you listed an L, though typed as lower case "l", when originally reporting the name which prevent us from being able to find it.

I am sorry for the frustration this may have caused, if you submit another petition with the correct spelling of the name we should be in a better position to review it and take what appropriate actions are necessary.

Had my entire guild there to witness, screen shot, and open tickets, all were similar copy and paste responses, the player has been on daily since the incidents and nothing happens to them.

I only see one harassment petition from 5 days ago. Making a blanket statement that we support racism requires a bit more then that as I can assure you that appropriate actions are taken regarding such reports.

You indicated that nothing has happened to the person. I'm sorry, but you simply don't know that. We take action based off of the severity of the offense in addition to what previous violations are found on an account. I'm sorry but we do not take into consideration how offended you may be of if you are associated with the race, creed, religion, sexuality, or gender of the words that were used.

It simply doesn't matter if you are, a inappropriate term is an inappropriate term and will be addressed accordingly. What you must understand though is our goal is not simply to boot everyone out who may violate these policies. We choose to educate and give those players an opportunity to correct their behavior. How this system works can be seen in the support article below.

Even the offender states Blizz won't touch him, so he's possibly a GM, or GM's friend? Not sure, but I do know, Blizz SUPPORTS RACISM..

Of course the offender says that we won't do anything, they either mistakenly believe that or are trying to convince you so you don't actually report them.

Even if someone was the friends, sibling or spouse of a Blizzard employee, it wouldn't matter. Our staff does not assist with petitions on realms that they have an interest on. Nor would they have any protections otherwise. Appropriate actions would be taken regardless of who you are or who you know.

It does no one good to make snap determinations based off of little to no factual information, especially when you then spend your time posting such inaccurate and frankly, libelous statements.

My pleasure, Maeona. :)
