Have you been watching Dr. Who and Eureka?

I would love to know what you think so far if you have a few.

Hai! *HUGGLE ATTACK!*

Doctor Who is a complicated answer. Although I have not fully recovered from the departure of "my" Doctor I wanted to give Smith the chance that he deserves. Though he seems wild, manic and downright childish at times I can see the direction that Moffat seems to be heading with the character. I think Smith is playing that version very well indeed though I can't help but miss my mischievous, sarcastic, adventurous, righteous and often dark Doctor.

Loving Eureka, can't wait to see what happens next. I missed Warehouse 13 this week so I need to catch it on demand this weekend. :D
Q u o t e:

Wouldn't a cape look strange on a centaur? It'd have to be a half-cloak, or it might do strange things to your rump. Personally, I'd recommend some good barding - always attractive, and useful for protecting yourself from the slings and arrows of outraged forum-goers.

Oh, very good idea there, Pahanda.

Thunderwulf has recommended watching Haven. I haven't yet, but he hasn't been wrong about Dr. Who or Eureka...

Well, shoot, I'll have to check it out then. Thunderwulf and I have a lot of the same tastes when it comes to shows. <3

Ljosine, hopefully you are reading the OT as well. I appreciate your comments but let's keep things as on topic as possible in other threads. We don't want to distract from the issue at hand. :)

Enjoy Eureka?

Not bad at all. It's a little lonely on Saturdays. Hehe.

Yes, I did. I can't wait to see what happens in the end. Everything back the way it was, some things different, Gaius Baltar back in his own time line...

Hehe, aye. Though it will likely be a tad lonely around here until we find some new blood and get those guys ready for you. :D It is unfortunately a lengthy process and those of us who remain will be running around a lot, you should hopefully start to see new faces um... avatars.. hmm.. err.. cubes... in the next month or so.

Q u o t e:

We gonna have "Trainee1", "Trainee2", "Trainee3", etc? Or are they gonna get their names right away?

I am not certain yet. I guess once it is decided it depends how quickly they can get their naming choices in and how quickly everything can get created.

Try covering your eyes with a cloth. It always helps me.

------------------^

When I was on the overnight shift I used blackout curtains, a face mask (you can substitute this with a shirt rolled into a blindfold or a simple cloth) and generally had classical music running in the background. The music helped my mind focus on that, instead of all the hustle and bustle of what was going outside.

Hey Arrestide!

How are you doing? =)
Keeping busy, but that's nothing new for Blizzard folks. Rationing my StarCraft II time in order to savor the campaign. I love WoW (and am coming up on my 3rd 80), but SC is the game that really drew me to Blizzard-- as a fan and as an employee.

Last week's launch was something I'd been eagerly anticipating for over a decade. Haven't felt that giddy since the day we announced the game, and I could geek out more openly about it. =)

Are you the new CSF blue replacement i take it? so far im liking what i see, can i ask what your avatar is? i swear its something from SC or something

As stated above, Plytor, Ares is by no means new to the company, and was introduced a while ago by myself: (http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=24401691602&sid=1). I realize that my introduction was a bit misleading, as he is technically not a regular poster, as Vrak, Orlyia, Zenlyth, or I are, but his presence will be felt here on the forum from time to time. :0)

As for the post where he mentions the specifics of his role:

Q u o t e:
Q u o t e:
Arry, the team that will be patrolling, will they be from the regular ingame GM depart? Or will y'all be pulling the mods off the CSF for this?
We have a relatively new Customer Care team, which is an extension of Customer Service. Customer Care works hand-in-hand with the CS Forum group (as my presence here attests), but we probably won't pull CSF coverage offline for this investigation. Instead we will be using some of our other agent resources (who also carry years of extensive frontline experience).
