Question about battlegrounds.

Hello I'm currently lvl 71 and have been tryin to play an Alterac Valley bg for several days. When I que up it says avg time for last ten players, "unavailable." So I go out and quest while I'm waiting. After two different attempts I waited over an hour and a half in que, and had to leave the que cause RL stuff. So I have yet to play an AV. I know you can't make players que, but I was wondering since I'm on the low end of my bracket, is priority given to higher level players? Or is it based on whos waited the longest to play? I would like to know which one it is. Thanks if you can help.

Your level will only influence which bracket you are queuing for, Battlesteer. After you've queued for battle, players are selected at a first-come first-serve basis. You will have the same priority as a player who is couple levels higher than you. :)
