PANIC! I don't know what to do (beta)

I don't have an email from Blizzard, so I don't know exactly how to proceed, and I'm sort of afraid to click on anything yet. I looked on the beta forum, and tried to find an answer in the FAQ, but I haven't seen anything helpful yet.

I just logged into my Battle.net account, and I see a new World of Warcraft entry for the Cataclysm beta.

Thing is that I have three World of Warcraft licenses attached to my Battle.net account.

Is there something special I need to do to be able to copy over my characters from my main account?

I don't know if the beta is linked to a specific WoW license or what.

Any suggestions or guidance? Thanks.
