The pet is automatically added to your World of Warcraft account when you add your Starcraft II Collectors edition to your Battle.net account. :)
The pet will be added to any World of Warcraft merged into the same Battle.net account.

Can you try logging out of the account completely, closing down the client then reboot?

You need the Collector's Edition for the Standard Version of World of Warcraft.
