Gold Spammer Revenge? Help!

OK so i got a tell from a gold spammer the other day asking if i wanted to buy gold. I replied that I didn't want his gold told him to go die and to F off. He replied cussing at me and saying I'm gonna be sorry.

Since then I have been getting some weird character (character as in letters numbers) spam which soon after I disconnect. Is it possible the Disconnects are related to this gold spammer? if so what can i do to fix this and put a end to this. I have a authenticator so I'm not terribly worried about getting hacked but I have never disconnected as much as i have lately usually was once a blue moon now it is at least 4-5 times daily and usually after receiving the weird ? character spam. A response from a blue would be greatly appreciated

The best course of action when you receive whispers of this nature in-game would be to report them, Spellborn. This can be done in one of two ways, by right clicking their message, and reporting it as spam, or submitting an in-game petition. Either way, I would suggest not cursing at the player at the other end of the character – if you were to be reported your actions may result in an account action.

It is unlikely that the whispers you are receiving are linked with your disconnections. Though, if you are continuing to be harassed by this player, I would suggest that you bring that to the attention of the Game Master staff as well.
