I got a phone call for opting in for the Bliz-con Choc Childrens foundation Dinner. the whole thing sounds a bit fishy. am i really required to give my credit card over the phone?? i posted earlier and a blizzard blue text guy said it was legit.

but it just seems wierd in the email it says Bliz-con i thought it was Blizzcon? idk it just sounds all a little too fishy. what do you think? and would be nice for someone in blue to confirm this.

Bethany, though I understand that you are skeptical, it is always a good idea to be in this day and age. Though I already confirmed that this offer was legitimate. :)

The Rep gave you a link to a previous confirmation to which you asked if you could post for a blue confirmation as well, which they said you could. That being the thread I posted in.

It should also be noted that you have received several e-mails from an @blizzard.com address and replied to the same address in a continuous dialog. If this was a scam attempt then the reply from @blizzard.com would not be possible. It may be possible for an address to be spoofed to look like it is from a specific address but you can confirm where you are e-mailing.

Your current question in your last e-mail I don't have an answer for unfortunately so you will need to wait until they can respond in the morning.
