on the night of the 30/07/2010 my house was broken into and among the many things stolen was a laptop. Today i have noticed a password reset request for my battlenet account has been sent to my email address. Its possible there was not even a request sent and it may just be the ussual phising attempt, however the laptop that was stolen from my house would have had my email address saved for logging in, So if there really was a password reset request sent it was quite possibly done by the person in possesion of my daughters laptop our TV clothes PS3 PSP wii motorbike keys deodorant and 12 week old rottweiler pup.

I would really like to know if there was a request sent to have the password reset and if there was can blizzard provide the australian police with the IP address the request was sent from if the police were to contact blizzard personally for the information?

I have tried the australian contact number for blizzard 1800 041 378 but it is unfortunately unavailable for australians to ring during the day. and in game tickets take a week to get a response.

PLEASE HELP

If this does eventually prove to be the case, we do work with all lawful requests from law enforcement.

Stranger things have happened :)
