Alright, so I'm aware this isn't an in-game issue. I don't see anywhere else to post this, I doubt a GM would be able to comment, and it most certainly does not belong under suggestions. General Discussion would also be a bad location, and I'm not sure what the guidelines for wowreportedpost are, so...

This isn't about appealing a ban, or questioning the reason behind it. This is about forum moderators flipping through post reports and hitting the ban and delete buttons simply because they were reported in the first place.

Why do I have a problem with this? There is a guild targeting a handful of other raiding guilds on our server and reporting inconsequential and material posts alike. Due to the severe lack of foresight on the moderators' part, myself, my guildmates, and members of the other guilds on our realm are having posts deleted and their accounts banned both temporarily and permanently left and right. This is really getting out of hand. You would think with the amount of reporting that this guild is doing one after the other that the moderators would have caught on to what they're doing, but apparently not.

Thus far we've had posts in our very own recruitment thread deleted, and one member permanently banned. Posts on our realm raid progression thread are being reported and deleted. A pug raid that is hosted by a member of my guild had it's informational post reported, and he was banned because the original post was older than 30 days, even though the thread was being posted in and bumped regularly.

Now, if you've read through this, you can see why I might be concerned that blizzard moderators aren't doing their job properly, and because of this, people are losing their access to the forums. In addition to this, my guildmates and the members of these other guilds are being subject to a new form of harassment. I'd really like to know what a representative's response/suggestion on this is. You know... other than the basic, "appeal your ban and wait for a response". We shouldn't feel "afraid" to post on our own realm forums, because of the childish actions of this guild and it's members, and we most certainly should not have to wait for an unfair ban simply to appeal the situation, have the ban lifted, and then reapplied due to more carlessness on the moderator's part.

Unfortunately I am of little assistance to you in this situation, Rhael. I can, however, tell you that the e-mail address listed above: wowcmfeedback@blizzard.com is where you would want to report any feedback, both positive and negative, that you may have for members of the Community team.
