Lost Badge Vendor Loot, In Game GMs unhelpful

I bought the plate DPS ilevel 245 helm off the horde Triumph badge vendor in dalaran the other day (Theramin, 80 DK on Kilrogg), but it never showed up in my inventory, though the 75 badges it cost were gone from the character sheet. I immediately put a ticket in, and two days later was told that they couldn't recover the item since there was no record of the transaction. I'm not sure what else to do; I would think the fact that I'm 75 badges short now would mean something, perhaps an entry in a database log somewhere.

We just couldn't find that purchase, Theramin. We went back to 7/4 and even looked at your badge counts and found no losses and no helms purchased. We can find purchases - and even sellbacks, but no helm and the triumph badge totals seem to be tracking properly.
