My friend lost his authenticator because of stupid friends at his party. Anyway, he spent like 2 hours looking for it, and can't find it. I doubt anybody took/stole it because nobody plays WoW or even knows that he plays it. Anyway, he can't log into the game, account management, or even forums. So, is there a way that he can temporarily have the authenticator removed until he either finds it or buys a new one? Please, sweet, and thanks! :)

Your friend is not doomed to wander the streets in search of his authenticator, Unclesamsam. As long as he is the registered account holder he should be able to remove the lost Authenticator by contacting Billing & Account Services:

Hours of Operation: 7AM to 8PM PST— Wednesday through Tuesday

DO YOU think the turtle GM will come back to this post again?

Yes, yes I do!

Wait, so all he has to do is email them and wait? That's it? How does it exactly work? Because he is a little bit paranoid lol! :P

If he decides to get this resolved by way of e-mail, then yes, Unclesamsam. However, as stated above, it may take a few days for Billing & Account Services to get back to your friend. Alternatively, he may try to get through over the phone, and get the Authenticator removed while on the phone with them. This would allow him to jump back into his 3s and working toward the 1800 rating. :0)

Wow thank you SO MUCH for responding with this great news and information! :)

P.S. - Why did you delete my response to the Tauren Death Knight?

It was slightly inappropriate for the forums. :0P
