Yesterday I started a thread complaining about being hacked and not being able to talk to a blizzard rep. Today, all my gear and characters were restored. Needless to say I am quite thrilled :) but also i would also like to give blizzard my apologies for my complaint.

I am very grateful to have my account restored and would like to say thank you for taking the time for doing so, and would like to apologize for my complaints that were hastily given out in anger

Thank you for the kind words, Ermacc. We completely understand how frustrating these matters are and how it does look when you are unable to get through to a Blizzard Rep as soon as you'd like.

We are working diligently to improve response times by e-mail, phone and in-game, though this has been going on for awhile some improvements seem to be making it through the pipes and will hopefully be noticeable fairly soon.
