For about 3 weeks now I have been getting the same mail, in my mailbox, from THE SAME CHARACTER, and I have clicked report spam every time. NO LIE, i get this mail about 10-15 times per day, so I am clicking report spam 10-15 times per day. And yes, "it is from the same character". It is a mail saying, learn about this new level 80-85, log in at [Removed], something something. Why am I still being harrassed by the SAME character multiple times a day for WEEKS now. Does the report spam button actually work? or is it just a pacifier?

By using the Report Spam feature you place the account on ignore (for that play session) and send a report to a special queue that addresses this specific issues.

The mail does not actually disappear though, it is just hidden from your view for a certain amount of time. You aren't being harassed by the same character multiple times a day, you are just being exposed to the same letter you have already reported multiple times a day.

I am sorry for the confusion, Judas. You may delete the mail now that you have reported it.

I DELETE THE MAIL EVERYTIME. and later it is back, the next day it is back, over and over and over, and i delete it everytime

Contrary to what you may have heard, I am not deaf, I would prefer not being shouted at.

I thought you used the Report Spam button, Judas? That should automatically ignore the message, I wasn't aware it gave you the option to delete it once reported. Not until later at least.

My apologies, not yelling, just frustrated with this same person, same attempt at account stealing over and over. I know he/they must be doing it to many others as well. Just frustrated with it.

If these are different messages are you certain that they are from the same person? Many of the people who advertise in this way create characters in order to send the mail and those characters are usually deleted shortly after. They may just be reusing the name.

Are you receiving the mail on this character?
