Your ticket will be serviced soon.

Please only Blizzard responses to this.

I've had this status on my ticket for two days now. What's up? I submitted my ticket before the 24 hour maintenance on Tuesday, and afterward it said it would be serviced soon. Can I get some help with my issue or what? It's pretty frustrating to be lied to for 2 days. If it won't be serviced soon, don't tell me it is.

Your petition has simply been placed in a special queue to have your request looked into. Unfortunately this action is causing the message that you see to be a little misleading.

I have to said though, you haven't been lied to for two days, "Soon" can mean in a few minutes, in a few weeks or in a few years, soon is completely relative. If your icon said "will be answered in 5 minutes" and it was an hour, then yes, that message would have lied to you.

I am sorry for what frustration this issue may have caused you though, your request will be addressed as soon as possible. Make sure you do not close your petition as that will remove your request from queue and cause it to go unanswered.

I'm not certain if we'll be able to assist in this particular case given that you are able to return a mistaken purchase within 2 hours of played time, but someone will take a look and let you know.

i know the feeling ive had a ticket in since monday after i traded some mats to a player to get the sandal of conc made and the player logged with my mats, ive had the ticket since monday and no response etc

Your issue takes a bit of investigation, Altron, so it will need to be escalated to a specialist who will look into what happened. If they can verify a scam took place they will take what actions are appropriate based on our policies. Though no restoration is guaranteed, even in these cases, they will see if they can recover the materials for you.

Hang in there.

my ticket took 2hours to be answered today

Interesting, must be on a different account I don't see any recent petitions submitted. We do keep an eye out for certain issues, it really depends on the case.

No, of course it isn't. But soon isn't a given amount of time, which is what I was trying to demonstrate.
Q u o t e:

Generally if you pay for a service, customer service should be available 24/7, and in that mindset, anyone would assume that soon means SOON.

The service you pay for grants you access to your account. It does not guarantee a specific response time. We are available 24/7, but unfortunately that doesn't mean that responses to inquiries won't take some time. It depends on many factors, including the number of requests that are in queue in front of you.
Q u o t e:

Maybe I'll be sure to warn my friends about Blizzard and how they take months and years to answer their customers. No one would believe that surely, but I'll be sure to cite my source.

If you wish, perhaps they will have a understanding how the statement was meant instead of how you seem to have misinterpreted it.

Shadron, it seems that your focus of my original post was on "soon" and you may have missed the very first sentence.

As I already said, when your petition was placed in the queue it causes a misleading message to be presented. I am sorry for what confusion this has caused.

Exactly, the point is why is Blizzard intent on misleading people? You said it yourself that you're aware this is misleading. Why mislead customers?

Intent...

A very good word. The intent is not to mislead people, Shadron, but as I said the way your petition is currently handled causes a misleading message to be presented. It is not intended and it is an issue that our Developers are looking into correct.
