Recruit a Friend Reward Issue

I just payed $15 to my subscription which has a couple days left of my 30 free days. My friend who recruited my has run out of time and for some reason has not received the free 30 days that is rewarded when I purchase my first month. Is this because i still have a couple of days left from my first free month when i bought the game?

Correct. Though if you use a Game Card, instead of a billable method of payment, that time is applied immediately and will qualify the recruiting account for the subscription benefits.
