Question about Arena Teams

Is there any way to gain control of a team so that I can add more members? My current 2v2's leader is really unreliable and I'd like to continue doing arena matches when he isn't on. (Which is often) If I were to put in a petition to gain control of the team would that be able to go through?

You can ask the current captain of your Arena Team for control, Aeravin, but we would be unable to make you leader.

In certain cases when a Guild leader or Arena Team captain has been absent for a time we may be able to transfer leadership, but the person must be absent, not merely unreliable. :)
