Slightly complicated question

So im afraid of losing my account to hackers... i talked to billing before and i know you have to have authentication keys from your classic wow(which i dont have) and the name on my account is the name i go by not my real one.. like the last names are different(which is a whole nother story)

So if i were to lose control of my account would there be no way for me to get it back since i have neither of those things?

Im thinking theres a way to change my name to match since the hackers seem to do it easy enough.. but i cant really figure out how

To sort that out, you'd need to confer with our Billing Department. Under the circumstances you describe - that may or may not be able to be done.

I'd second getting an authenticator to minimize the risk of ever losing control of the account in the first place.
