RAF question.

So... I'd love to have that super sweet RAF rocket but never wanted to shell out the cash to basically just buy it by buying a second account, so I pretty much forgot about it.

Today, I did a genuine recruting-of-a-friend by coercing a coworker to go out and buy the game and TBC expansion and start playing.

Like I said though, I forgot about the whole RAF thing so it never even occurred to me to send him an invite and have him sign up that way. He purchased 3 months of playtime when he created his account.

Since he just made it on its own... I guess it is too late to reap the would-be benefits of a RAF deal?

He JUST made his account less than an hour ago and as soon as he logged in it hit me. Who do I have to beg around here to let the RAF be applied retroactively? lol

Really though... I've never done the RAF thing... that's how it works, right? Send an email invite and have them go from there and make an account/buy playtime? So with him having made his account without that invite my only option is to recruit another friend?

Given the circumstance I'm optimistic (though I shouldn't guarantee) that our Billing & Account Services team may be able to assist you with this case.

While they're closed for now, you can reach them between 7am and 8pm Pacific time, 7 days a week, calling 1-800-592-5499. You can also email them at [email protected]. Either way, it will be useful for you to issue a Recruit-A-Friend key for your friend since I believe they need that to do the "retroactive" link.

Best of luck to you and your friend in your adventures!
