Q u o t e:
im glad i was up this time of night, just got an email from blizzard saying my password has just been changed, right off the bat i assume its just some fail ass ppl trying to steal my acct, but i always make sure, i went to battle.net and tried to log in, sure enough my password has been changed, i sure as hell didnt do it, now 2 things are screwed up with this, 1. i run a spybot and malware scan often making sure i get rid of keyloggers and such, and 2...i have an authenticator, sooo im guessing theres some sort of flaw with the battle.net site, also i noticed u can remove ur authenticator from ur acct at the battle.net site too, kinda worried about that
The authenticator should keep them out of your account, but with enough information - it may not be enough to keep them from attempting to change your password.
Somehow - they got that much information.
Malware, compromised emails and phishes are the most common ways they get this information, but are by no means the only way.
You may wish to do full sweeps of your system, you might also want to change your email to another unrelated one. That will effectively change your Battle.net login, something that was never possible in the old system.
This sticky may be useful.

http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=24702231244 You may also want to look into getting an authenticator for your account. It's no substitute for good security habits, but it will help keep them out of your WoW account.
