I am new to the game and VERY new to the auction house (about 5 minutes old). How do I know how to price things? I have a wood chopper, for example, that the little widow says is worth 99 bronze.

Is that a ligit price when i put it in the auction house? How do I know what range to list it as?

Also, i listed my bronze or for 25silver each buy out price. I have no idea if that's even close.

I believe the price that is initially listed is based on the vendor price of the item, Furymonger. How much an item is actually worth though depends on your realm and the market there.

Some items that go for 1 gold on one realm can go for 10 gold on another. It depends on the market. You can check with the denizens of your realm and see what the price would normally be, you can also check some fan sites as they will sometimes list the average price some of these items go for.

Ok thanks.

Now how come some items let me bid and others do not? does that mean that items has been bought?

People can list items with or without a buyout so it would likely depend on the item and how it was submitted. If an item is already purchased it will no longer be listed on the Auction House.

Most of your basic information on the Auction House and how it works can be found on the following page.
