Can I call customer support for someone else?

Hey all,
A while back my friends account was hacked and a gold farmer used it to spam trade chat. So after sorting things through with a gm/getting an auth we were ready for the results. (We were told we would get an email in 3-5 days) About two or so weeks later, she hasn't gotten a single thing.

Fearing of losing more time (We're RaFing) we decided for her to call in rather than waiting another 2 weeks for nothing. However, she's preoccupied with a load of things. Considering I have her as a Real ID buddy (till she disabled it) I asked her if it was ok to call in and try to sort things out as a favour to her. (Considering I don't need her pass because 'A Blizzard representative will never ask for your account information.') This way once she's done we can quickly try to get at least one 60 in.

TL;DR, We have limited time for our Recruit a Friend and she is completely swamped with issues in real life. We waited two weeks for some response (I was told in game that she would get a response) and now just want to call in to get this whole thing sorted through. Can I just call in for her? (If she agrees of course)

No, one cannot call for another, Macol - but I can update you a bit.

This has already been processed, we are awaiting word back that this player has their security tended to.

The important part of that missing email at this point is this....

Q u o t e:
STEP 2: RECOVER THE ACCOUNT
We now provide a secure website for you to verify that you have taken the appropriate steps to secure the account, your computer, and your email address. Please go to this site and follow the instructions:

If you'd like to pass that URL along, that's really all we need to get this finalized.
