Out of curiosity did something just happen to wow's authenticators?

I receieved an email at work that my password changed. So I logged in changed the account and could log in. I do a forgot password and logged in. Noticed my authenticator is no longer associated with this account.

I add my authenticator back. Haven't check my inventory out yet, but is this a problem with wow's servers or is there a new way to remove someones authenticator without calling in now?

Nor can I log into my account on the web site anymore...

You can remove the Authenticator through the Battle.net account page if you have access to it. Otherwise you would need to contact our Billing and Account Services department to have it removed. In most cases to remove the Authenticator you would need to provide the serial number as well as other account specific information.

In this case it does not appear that Billing removed the Authenticator. From what I can see it looks like whomever removed the Authenticator did so through the Battle.net Account Management page apparently using the Authenticator.

Are you using a phone that is "jailbroken" by chance? That can seriously compromise the effectiveness of the device.
