Why doesn't blizzard be more specific?

Hello, I just sent in my story for the 2010 Blizzard writing contest....im a minor in my country, and blizzard specifically states in their rules that "one of your parents or legal guardians must submit a signed, written statement that they have read, understood and agree to these Contest rules with your entry, and that such agreement constitutes acceptance of these Contest rules on behalf of you and themselves."

Now, I have spoken to both of my parents, and they both agree that I can join this contest. All three of us have read the rules--we're aware of the prizes, locations, etc.

On the contest submission page, there's absolutely nowhere to "send in the consent with your entry"

There are only boxes for your name, location, story, etc. My parents would be more than happy to prove that I have their consent, but what would the point be to put the consent online? Anybody can fake that.

I've already sent in my typed story ,explaining that there was no where to put the consent, I mean, where my parents susposed to say that they'll allow me to participate? in the description box?

I worked really hard on the story and I dont want to be immediately disqualified. Sorry if i come off as rude or anything, i've been asking the 1. Story forum 2. RP forum 3. General forum 4. Blizzard themselves. i've gotten no helpful answers yet....I mean, it'd be kinda helpful considering half of the entrants are probably below 18.

It just confuses me, and my parents would be more than happy to provide consent via email, telephone, etc. Thanks!

I'm afraid the Game Master department would have little if any information regarding this contact, Alexander. As stated in the rules though.

They will back to you as soon as possible.

If I had to guess though I'd agree with Aarschott, you should be able to scan your parents permission and send it along with your entry.
