Trial Upgrade Error - Lack of Support

Alright so I referred a friend to WoW last week, his character name is rabbitseason and play's with me on Medivh.

He got to 20 and decided that he was actually enjoying the game so he attempted to upgrade. Upon entering his credit card information he received an error message that said his card info was invalid. He tried entering again more carefully to ensure he didn't make a mistake, invalid. He uses another card, invalid. He asks me to come over and watch him enter the information in case he's doing something wrong. I watch him enter it, all legit, invalid.

He then checks his bank statement and every single transaction went through. Worst part of it all is, his trial account is still not upgraded.

So now this is where someone chimes in and says, "Oh you need to call Billing here's the number."

So he's been trying to call Billing for the past 4 days about this issue. However every time he calls, the automated system tell him that the queue is full or he just gets a busy signal flat out. A friend tells us that you have to spam call in order to even get in the queue.

So he spam calls before work, after work, and even during work sometimes during his breaks. No luck. It's been 5 days now, and he decided to wake up at 8am on the dot, when the Billing line opens in an attempt to jump in before the hordes of callers, and guess what? Busy signal / queue is full.

Now one of two things is happening here:

1. The phones are ringing off the hooks at Blizz Billing, and no one cares.
2. Blizz Billing is in fact working, but whoever is managing that department doesn't give a flying BLEEP that their load is off the charts.

I've found one of the few remaining people on earth who has not indulged in what I think is a great MMO experience, brought him straight up to your doorstep, and you guys are repeatedly refusing to let him in. This guy was already hesitant to try WoW to begin with and now his first experience with Blizzard is this huge BLEEPing mess.

rabbitseason, Medivh server, he submitted a ticket 5 days ago, you've already got his money several times over, upgrade this guy's trial account and let him play already.

I'm terribly sorry to hear of all this trouble you and your friend are experiencing, Xarkness. Unfortunately, however, there is little I can do to assist with this issue. You're on the right path, there's just a lot of traffic between here and there, so it's may take a little while for you to receive the support you require. I encourage you to continue calling as spots within the phone queue are constantly opening as our Representatives finish their calls. As your fellow players have mentioned, hanging up immediately and pressing redial will improve your chances of getting through.

I truly wish I could be of more service to you both. I hope to hear that this issue is resolved soon.
