An account was given to me by a friend.

A few months ago a friend got me into playing World of Warcraft. I was going to buy a new account, but he told me that I could have his additional one, and told me to link it to my battle.net account so I would have the ownership of the account. Now that I have a few geared level 80s on it he is threatening me, saying that he is going to call Blizzard and take the account back. At the time that I got the account it only had a level 70ish character, I feel like he used me to level and gear his characters. What should I do?

With this, our Account Administration team will review your email and take all appropriate steps in accordance with our policies. Don't let your friend's confidence fool you into thinking that he's going to get what he wants; he'll likely find that he's overconfident in this regard.
