I woke up this morning to log in before i had to run errands, and for some reason it prompted me for an authenticator, which i have never had. I figured it was no big deal and I downloaded the free authenticator for my phone. I then realized that it was impossible to change anything in my account, including the removal of this imaginary authenticator without having--in fact--the imaginary authenticator. It was impossible to set up the authenticator I downloaded because http://www.battle.net/bma (where you set up the authenticator) was prompting for a code at log-in. Someone please halp. :O

I can assure you - there are no 'imaginary' authenticators, Jé. You were indeed compromised.

That's gone now, but finding out how they obtained your password and ID to add this is going to be vital to prevent them from coming right back.

This sticky may be useful.

You may also want to look into getting an authenticator for your account. It's no substitute for good security habits, but it will help keep them out of your WoW account.
