Character transfer stuck in limbo.

Hey all,
I've got a rather unique situation here and I'm not sure exactly how to proceed. About two weeks ago my account got hacked and all my characters got cleaned out. Thankfully Blizz was able to restore them quickly but there is still one problem. The hacker had transferred my main character to another realm and now he's stuck. When I try to log in with him on the new realm (to try and reverse the process) I get a message saying “You cannot log in until the character update process you recently initiated is complete.” when I go to the character transfer page to try and cancel it there are no options, it says it is “ineligible to move” I'm guessing that right now this is because blizz is still investigating the hacking. I've tried emailing tech support about this but haven't heard anything about it. Does anyone have any tips?

This sort of thing should be detected during the account investigation, and the actions reverse along with your items being restored. If you want to be certain that your character is returned to the realm that it was on prior to the compromise, you may also fill out the following form: (http://us.blizzard.com/support/article/30824).
