Account hacked and authenticator added!

Hello this is my account and it was hacked. I just recently foudn this out tonight and got my password changed as soon as i found out and protected my computer better. The only problem is, is that there is now an authenticator on my account that i dident put on there. Someone please help!

They were actively on the account, so I asked this be locked down to protect you from any further damages, Durabin. Most damages are done almost immediately, so this will need to be investigated. I see you already have an investigation open as of about an hour ago - so that process has started.

Please check your email for further instructions on how to get this account unlocked.

What is vital at this point is finding out how they managed to obtain your password and ID. If that isn't identified, the chances of this repeating are VERY high. Please do make sure your system and email are secure before requesting this be unlocked.

You may also want to look into getting an authenticator for your account. It's no substitute for good security habits, but it will help keep them out of your WoW account.

Restorations are part of the investigation that has already been put into queue.

At the moment, those are running about 4-5 days.

Possibly, but you are likely going to need to call.

When we change an email - we need to make very certain it's coming from you.

If it wasn't sent from the existing email account, we really have no way to verify that. You may want to give them a call when they open in the morning.
