Character Restoration/Account Resto Question

Posting for a friend:

So recently, my account was compromised and I was banned on my account for gold selling/buying etc. Today, I received multiple emails from blizzard telling me that my account was now switched to "Temporarily Disabled" status and that my characters on Turalyon were being restored. I apologize that this post is a bit "wall-of-text-ish" but I feel I should be as thorough as possible.

Now, I have 2 concerns:

1) As a pvper, I enjoy all aspects of pvp. Currently, I've been working with a few friends on a 30-39 twink project. Now some of the rare 30-39 items we needed were given to me to hold and transfer to Lethon when I had finished my own 39 twink(which would be the character holding all the rare items). Now some of these items were not mine and some of them were very rare and specific green items (11 shadow spell damage dagger, etc.) and were already enchanted with expensive and rare enchants like Soulfrost. If I can provide some kind of proof that I owned such an item or maybe have a GM talk to the enchanter who did the enchant, can I get the item restored?

2) I submitted the "account recovery" form in accordance to the email sent to me. In the email, it said I would be provided with "further instructions". Rather than just a simple "password reset", this implies maybe providing proof of ownership, identification, CD-key etc. So will I need these things ready to recover my account? I just want to know so I can have these at the ready to make sure the process goes as smoothly as possible.

If these two concerns would be addressed by a Blue poster or anyone with sufficient knowledge of this process, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks,

Limstella- Turalyon

Looks like they are waiting on confirmation from you certifying your system and email are secure.

I am not certain why this email would not have come through, but the pertinent part at the moment is this...

STEP 2: RECOVER THE ACCOUNT
We now provide a secure website for you to verify that you have taken the appropriate steps to secure the account, your computer, and your email address. Please go to this site and follow the instructions:

It does indeed look like some work has already been done on the account.
