i just received a customer service survey in my registered e-mail inbox and was wondering if this is normally what happens before the problem is fixed or whether i have missed the actual e-mail detailing what i have to do to unlock my account.

Really depends on the issue, Lolcatz.

If this is a compromise, or something that must go through multiple hands, it's not unusual.

Those go out automatically, I'm afraid. While great in a one-stop resolution, some issues take multiple departments or transfers to be fully resolved. Those can be a bit confusing in a situation like that - but take heart if you do receive one, something happened with your petition along the way :)

cool. thanks for the response. so my account was compromised, that means that it has likely gone up a step in the process of recovery if i received the suvey?

That's most likely exactly what it means if you haven't received any emails from your Specialist yet.
