Fake E-mail About Beta Invites

Normally G-mail Filters out Fakes, And On top of that, I Use common sense. But I must admit It sorta fooled me, because I read on wowhead that beta invites were being sent out either tonight or tomorow night.

Anyways here it is:

before even clicking on the link I went to check my Battle.net Account, and nothing was there.

Just a warning to everyone!

Also I don't know if it's firefox or gmail, but when I click on the link it instatly tells me that the site is a reported web forgery. Everyone should get this, very useful!

Just a few things.

I know you mean well, but posting a malicious URL is just spreading the poison. Someone will let curiosity get the better of them.

If you actually go to a site like this - IMMEDIATELY scan for malware, these are usually lousy with infections.

Hyphens do not act like periods in a domain name. A string-of-hyphenated-blizzard-ish-sounding-words does not.a.domain.make :)

You can ALWAYS check the internal routing headers on any email. How this is done varies from email to email program, but they can all do it in one form or another. That will show you the true originator.

If anyone has been invited to Beta, it will show in Account Management in their games.
