Stuck In Death Animation

I was killed, yay me, in Northrend, Storm Peaks, and clicked on the release button, and well...I'm still there. Tried the unstuck button, nothing happened, logged out, and now it's stuck on "Retrieving character list." Restarted the computer and everything, and then boom happens to my friend who's playing on the same server on his gnome. And yeah....both discussing it on skype right now, kinda wondering wtf? Cause both of us are getting the same character list thing, oh and now another one two apparently....HELP?!

I do apologize for any inconvenience, Yam.

Not exactly sure what would have caused that, but I'm happy to hear it's resolved.

There are a couple work-arounds that can sometimes help if you find yourself in that situation in the future.

One is to try logging in another character on the same realm. That can sometimes force the one having an issue to behave :)

Another option of course is to submit an ingame petition on another character with the keyword 'stuck'. On occasion, it's the area itself that is the issue and the character can be moved.
