Shadowmourne extra reward problem

The first time we passed out shadowmourne reward items, I received a Muradin's Favor. I just completed my axe and upon trying to pass the new one out, I get the error "Muradin's Favor failed: Duplicate Item Found."

I understand the items are unique, but is it possible for a GM to give said item to the recipient that our raid decided? Seems pretty silly that a 2nd one can't be created for another person just because I received one a while back.
