I was compromised on 07/06. Reported it almost immediately but damage was done. I figured i'd be waiting weeks to get my items back, but to my surprise my four compromised characters were fully restored today.

Your case was months old. Time can be unkind to restorations. That authenticator was removed 5/18, this appeared to have all happened around the end of February and this was no followed up on till June.

Promptly reported compromises tend to have very good outcomes, but the older they get the less information is available.

I see we did try to restore what we could for you and gave you a bit of gold to try to offset some of your other losses. I know that's not going to likely compensate for what you may have had - it's intended to help you get back on your feet and get your toons into a playable condition.
