See if you can access your account with your latest password. You will also want to report any damages just as soon as possible via an ingame petition.
Right now, security is the main concern so they can't get back in. If they can....they WILL be back, that is very likely.

You may also want to look into getting an authenticator for your account. It's no substitute for good security habits, but it will help keep them out of your WoW account.

I too have had an unauthorized authenticator attached since July 3. I have emailed 3 times, and called once. I got three emails this morning indicating 3 of my characters have been restored so I just reset the password and tried to log in but it is still requesting an authenticator
