Authenticator - whether you want it or not...

I had previously emailed Blizzard about the use of an Authenticator with my account, I wasnt sure which one to get, the european or american version, because I do live in Germany but I am playing on US Realms... And of course I haven't gotten an answer back on that, but I am used to the wait. So today I try to log onto my account - and all of a sudden I am being asked for an authenticator code. I NEVER BOUGHT ONE YET! Hacked? Mysterious authenticator put on my account? I'd appreciate any thoughts...

You'll probably want to get the version that ships to your current address. A Blizzard Authenticator is a Blizzard Authenticator, the different regional versions are there to take into account different destinations for the convenience of our customers and for the purposes of efficient distribution.
