Ive never gone to the blizzard store and seen sold out game time cards, so imagine my surprise when I went there today and tried to buy a 1 month game card and they are sold out. Is blizzard trying to force us to buy 90 day cards? Will there be more added or are you phasing out the 30 day game cards?

I remember back a few years ago the pre-paid cell phone i used had a low tier card available that fit into my budget perfectly, but after several months of use they discontinued the lower tier cards in hopes that the customer would pay more for the higher end cards now to support their phone needs. I for one stopped using that phone companys service and went to another provider. Now, I can hardly change providers for WOW but if these 30 day cards are getting phased out I probably will consider moving on to some other game because truely paying for 90 days in advance just doesnt fit into my monthly budget.

It is in no way our intention to phase the 30 day game cards out of the Blizzard Store, Cherrihoho. While they are an electronic item, we do still have “stock” of them that can run out, the World of Warcraft Game Time can be generated whenever we need more, which as you have pointed out, seems to be the case right now. I would check back later this evening, but there should be more in stock by tomorrow at the latest.
