American in Korea. Need validation.

I'm an American living in Korea to teach, and I still want to play American WoW.

The problem is that I can't access battle.net (beyond posting. Not sure why THAT works) without hitting a message saying I need to authenticate my account with my Korean SSN.

I have the Korean SSN. I enter it. There is then a huge pause (like in terms of a few minutes) where it seems to be loading, and then it tells me that my valid SSN is NOT valid.

So, effectively, I'm locked out of battle.net, and thus will be out of luck if I'm picked for the Beta, and unable to add more time once my current game time expires.

From the long pause, I'm thinking whatever module of the web page checks SSNs is broken and needs to be fixed.

Some of you will tell me to contact billing. I already did that. No reply beyond the auto-reply, and this was a few days ago.

Our Billing Department would indeed be the best to address this sort of situation.

Skype is often highly recommended by our International players, may be an option you'd want to investigate. I can't speak to the need for inputting menu options, but I do know it's often highly recommended here by our players.
