Blizz need your help ~ please

Dear Sir,

I got 2 wow accounts, one for me and another one for my wife.

we both come to retail around June 2010. we both enjoy the game until today,

my warrior account got banned and closed with the reason is selling and buying gold in the game.

please check on this, we never buy or sell any gold in the game, (with the character 60+ and 70+) do we have the gold to sell ?

please check the character log and gain back the access to my warrior, thanks.

I do encounter people with level 1 pm me and promote they selling gold service, i straight report spam and ignore them. (you can check the log also).

The first email you posted was fake - it was a phish, someone hoping you'd given them your account information so they could steal it.

If you went to that site, or gave them any information, it's likely that was the cause.

If you did not visit the site or supply any information, you likely still have malware on your system or your email could be compromised.

I'd start with a full system scan and make sure your email is secure. Appealing that action can be done by emailing wowaccountadmin@blizzard.com.

You may also want to look into getting an authenticator for your account. It's no substitute for good security habits, but it will help keep them out of your WoW account.

YOU may not have spammed illicit gold advertisements, but your account most certainly did. That's a very common thing they do with compromised accounts.

You need to first - secure your system and email, then follow the rest of the procedures about reporting this as a compromise and getting that action reviewed.

Getting compromised isn't bad luck, Aurorae. It's most normally malware or a compromised email - or responding to a phish.

You'll need to email wowaccountadmin@blizzard.com about this and have it reviewed. In the meantime, I cannot urge you strongly enough to triple check your system and email's security.

There really is only one thing more invasive to a player than a compromise - and that's when it happens AGAIN.
