Despite the lies, you can advertise casinos.

Or so it would seem.

Its been posted several times that people are advertising casinos again all the sudden. I myself posted about the HUGE increase in casino spam in /2 on Eredar, and was told that it is in fact NOT allowed (advertising them that is)

There was even a link saying it was not allowed.

Its all BS.

Despite the lies GMs will tell you, they just don't care. I know of AT LEAST 15 people that have reported the 2-3 biggest casino spammers on Eredar, every day, for over 3 weeks.

And nothing. They spam advertise their casinos nonstop.

We have tried "report spam"

We have even tried filing actual GM tickets. The tickets get the "we are looking at it, but cant update you due to privacy concerns" type response, and NOTHING.

So, I challenge any GM here to give ANY sort of explanation why these people are being allowed to blatantly violate the ToS. Bottom line is that the GMs JUST DON'T CARE when it comes to this issue.
At least the GMs for Eredar anyway. Obviously there are likely many GMs that actually do the job they are paid to do, but the ones on Eredar aren't.

And yes, I totally get that they have larger problems to deal with. But this would take nothing more than a note in the persons inbox telling them to knock it off or face a ban, to totally bring it to a fast halt. Once 2-3 of them got the note, word would spread, and it would go away.

I normally wouldn't care, but when you can barely get any actually trade related conversations going because of the nonstop casino spam, its just ruining things for people.

This is patently false, Fractal.

The action may not be swift, but on this issue it will be sure.

Please do keep reporting any of these you see in public and they will be looked into.

Also, there are no GMs 'on Eredar' - or any other realm for that matter, all petitions go into a pool and everyone works from there.
