Found a toon in my account I didn't create

I was playing a few minutes ago when I got disconnected. Had some trouble logging back in and when I did I was in the realm choosing screen. I saw I had a character on a realm I didn't recall having one on and I checked it.. Sure enough I did not create that toon. Last week I had a problem with my account where I thought I had gotten hacked. Is there anyway to see when this toon was created to see if it was a remnant of last week or if it is new? The name of the toon is Nancydesenb and she was created on a realm called Kul Tiras. Thank you for any help given.

It was created on 7/8. It is possible that your account wasn't necessarily a good one to strip but they decided to use it to advertise. Hopefully you have prevented any further compromise.

You can change the e-mail account associated with your Battle.net account - which, of course, changes the user name.

Before doing this, I would strongly advise running a full security sweep on your computer. The link I gave you above will give you some excellent instructions on how to do that.

Indeed. If you haven't already I highly recommend the following links on computer/account security.
