Item Not Found

During the Summer Festival, one day it wouldnt load my character list to mains server, but it would let me onto other servers, I didnt think much of it, I used the repair and it seemed to have fixed the problem.

After I repaired the files any item that was related to Ahune didnt have an icon, bag, capes, weapon etc. I guess after relogging it fixed the cape icon on my alt, but my main got the Frost Scythe from the bag, it didnt have an icon, I didnt really care and just put it in my bank.

Today, I tried to equip it for the first time since I got it, it wont let me, I get an error "That Item Cannot Be Found" and it still has no icon. Im not sure if it makes a difference but I also have the level 70 version which I was about to vendor before I relized I cant equip the level 80 version.

Exit WoW, go to your World of Warcraft folder, delete the "Cache" folder, and start the game back up. See if that fixes it.


Aye. Give this a shot and let us know if the issue persists so that we can look into this a bit further.

Can you try performing a complete UI reset, Stigma. The steps are as follows:

1) *IMPORTANT* Exit the World of Warcraft to your desktop by logging out of the game and exiting. If World of Warcraft isn't closed, then these steps won't have the desired effect.
2) If you used an "installer" for a custom UI, see if it has an "uninstaller" and use it.
3) Inside the World of Warcraft Program Folder, delete the "WTF," "Cache," and "Interface" folders.
4) Restart your computer.
5) Please do not reinstall Addons prior to testing the issue you were experiencing.
6) Make sure that you are using WOW.EXE or LAUNCHER.EXE to start the game. Please do not run any UI installers beforehand, as we want to eliminate them as part of the issue.
7) Upon launching the game, you should see the Intro cinematic movie and be prompted to agree to the Terms of Use. Once you authenticate past the login screen, the “AddOns” button should no longer be visible at the lower left corner of the character selection screen. Both points mentioned previously must hold true if you should complete the aforementioned steps correctly.
