Hi I got hacked yesterday through a "phishing" email that looked SO real that even now I can't believe it is fake. Needless to say I have deleted that stupid email, d/l'd and run 3 spyware/virus/tracker program things including Malywarebytes as well as done a full system scan using Norton. I have also reset my password and am trying to change my email address as well. That being said, I have lost A LOT of items on my Main (who is bare except for the Tier pieces and AshV ring) as well as my 2 alts. Also, I got an in game mail from Blizzard saying thank you for purchasing an authenticator even tho I have have never put one on my account due to me being outside the US or Authenticator purchasing zones. I currently have a ticket open to contact a GM in order to get back my stuff and I was hoping that posting here might speed up the process. Should I list all the things that I lost on this forum, put it in the GM ticket, or wait till a GM speaks to me to list it all? Furthermore, could you check if I have an authenticator put on my account and if so can you remove it? I tried calling billing yesterday but unfortunately my Skype connection is awful and I could not converse with the technician. Any advice on what to do besides waiting would be greatly appreciated. If need be I have all the necessary documents that I can email Blizzard to verify that I am the owner of the account. Thanks in advance and sorry for the wall of text.

Do me a favor - check to see if that 'thank you' email about the authenticator is a phish.

We don't send any emails I'm aware of when one is attached.

Also, I see no authenticator present - if the account you are posting under is the one in question.

Looks like an investigation is already open and in queue. Those are running about 5-ish days at the moment.
