I was traded the Tyrannical Beheader by a friend of mine in a dungeon, and I went to gem it and it was just gone. vanished into thin air. I put in a ticket and as always "We are currently experiencing a high volume of petitions." comes up on the ticket. How long does this usually mean for item restorations on average, any ideas?

I show that in one of your Neatherweave Bags on your character, Electric.

If it's not showing to you, at the very least try relogging. Resetting your UI may also help.

To do a full reset UI, you will want to save your addons in another spot if you wish to preserve them.

Then rename/delete or move your WTF, Cache and Interface folders while WoW is shutdown. Reboot your system.

Note, if you are running Vista make sure your permissions are set so it does not undo your changes.

More detailed instructions for different operating systems, including Macs are here.

I already tryed re-logging. and yeah, I did delete some frostweave cloth to make room. the empty space should have been filled with the axe. And by now the spot has been filled i believe. I can log back in and check though. If this is the case, I do not see how deleting the WTF folder and doing all that other stuff would work, but I can still try.
EDIT: This also happened on my paladin, Nieles, just as an FYI.

What displays is controlled by your UI. The three folders involved in a reset can sometimes become corrupted or conflict. When you rename or nuke those, they recreate fresh the next time you enter the game. That would be my first recommendation.

So, I should delete those folders, and reboot my computer?

You need to delete or rename them and reboot is my recommendation, yes.

If you have addons you'd like to preserve, renaming them may be a better option.

No luck. The items still missing. Is there anything else I should try?

That is very very odd.

I see that in your bags.

Wait for your petition I guess, we may have to delete and issue it back to you. A reset UI really should have worked. You didn't re-enable any addons before you looked again did you?

Please check your character again, Electric.

We tried to retrieve this, see if you can see it now.

If you STILL cannot, there may be some file corruption going on. You could try running repair tool - but I'd check for it first.
