Still Trial after Upgrading

I just now bought an account, and upgraded it up to Wrath, and transferred this character over to it. (Basically, to let me play my main while I play alts.)

I logged into the game, and it's not letting me rejoin my guild, or send whispers or the like, even though I have purchased the game completely and was able to transfer to the account.

I've tried calling, but the hold queue is full. Is there any way to have the trial deactivated and let me take advantage of the full game features?

Also, the new account consists of a string of numbers, rather than a name like my old account. Is this normal?

Q u o t e:

Do the Recruit-a-Friend benefits (portal, XP, free time/rocket mount) come into effect once the Trial is fully upgraded to Full?

Yes and no.

The summoning ability and experience bonus comes into effect as soon as you create the Recruit a Friend trial account. The free game time and mount you will receive when the recruited account meets the requirements (i.e. once the subscription time is processed).
