So...... Back in early to mid june a high ranking officer in my guild Prowls had his account hacked got his account back from blizzard then got all his gear/ gold back and I was expecting the same from my guild bank expect they didn't replace any of the gold that was stolen even after waiting a few days in petition the last few days and missed a whole bunch of items that got stolen and the items they did replace didn't have any of the enchants or even worse they had no stats?!? So I got a message back because I wasn't online ( I'm sorry a few days waiting in queue some people sleep/work.... and they can't be online non-stop for days/weeks waiting for a GM). I'm supposed to check my email and all I got is like a dozen people trying to get me to verify my account information for security ( Yeah so I can get hacked too ? ).

All i wanted was a message back saying sorry we screwed up here's your gold and your items back and here's the item's back that actually have stats on them. No big deal. But no I get a email from blizzard to verify my account information and i need to gamble which one is blizzard and which one isn't a person trying to hack my account? I'm sorry i got half a dozen emails trying to verify my account information i figure my odds are 1 in 6 just for a bit of gold and a few items Is not worth it?

My question is why couldn't you just fix the problem you didn't finish? Is it that hard?

In that regard, Qpac, the message we would likely send you is an apology and remind you that no restoration is ever guaranteed. Though we try to repair all damage that is caused by a compromise is it not always possible. It is also important to note that though we try to restore the item how it was when it was lost it may not be able to replace lost enchantments or aspects of the item (i.e. of the Monkey, of Stamina).

Now from what I can see of your petition you were inquiring about the enchantments on the items, but here you seem to claim that we didn't restore any gold that was removed from the guild bank.

Though we will likely still be unable to restore the items exactly how they were when they were removed from the guild, you are welcome to e-mail [email protected] and provide a list of the items you can recall and we may be able to take a look.

The other items that were restored currently sit in your in-box. The gold though, was restored and it was taken from the mail by this character 3 days after you submitted your petition.

I am sorry that a compromise of a guild mates account effected the rest of the guild, Qpac, and I am sorry that we could not do more to repair the damage.

The gold was 1600+ gold was restored and I took it a few days after my petition which was a few days ago?

The gold was retrieved from the mail a few days after you submitted the petition. It was actually restored on 6/26 22:21 GMT and was sitting in the mailbox since then. The others items remain in your mailbox as well. If you can't see them I'd recommend disabling any addons you may have active or resetting your User Interface.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

3 to 4 days after you put in the ticket, from what Vrak is saying.

My mistake, it was actually about 7 days before the petition was submitted. I apparently had a bit of trouble telling the difference between a 1 and an 11. :D

The gold was removed from the mail exactly on 07/04 at 02:33 GMT.

Like even the noise machine which has a generic stat has no stats?

The Noise Machine should have the following characteristics:

Binds when equipped
Trinket
Requires Engineering (390)
Item Level 167
Equip: Increases spell power by 63.
Equip: Melee attacks against you have a chance to invoke a Sonic Shield, absorbing 1100 damage. This effect can only occur once a minute.
Sell Price: 6 79 49

Have you taken it out of the mail yet? Does it not show that information when you do?

Or thin cloth gloves with 20 shadow power restored with the shadow power or at least some gold to competition the 200gold enchant? Is there anything that can be done?

Simply, Qpac, no. We were able to replace the items that were taken but we could not verify what enchantments the may or may not have had. Though we try to provide what restorations we can and in some cases we may be able to restore and item exactly how it was but it is not always possible. In this case it wasn't possible.

We would not provide compensation for enchantments that you may have had, Qpac, I'm sorry.
