Using the 1 free month of game time

I'm home on a 2 week leave from Iraq and I knew my lil brother was into computer games so I baught him the first WOW game expansion that includes a free month of game time.Well come to find out he already had it and opened it so now the store won't take it back.The authentication key is still good and I was wondering if there was any way he could use the 1 free month of game time on a exsisting account or can it only be used on a brand new account.

Your fellow players are correct, Darkkens. The game time can only be applied when a new account is created with that key; this game time cannot be added to another account. My apologies!
