Short and sweet: I don't trust RealID. I don't trust your plans for RealID. And now I don't trust you. You say Every Voice Matters - then help this voice matter by explaining a few things to us.
1. Your CEO said this "Over time, we will continue to evolve Real ID on Battle.net to add new and exciting functionality within our games for players who decide to use the feature. ", can you please share that roadmap? i don't trust where you're going with this. I'd like know what to expect in the future. It's certainly better than all the terrible things I can imagine.
2. Why is Real ID so narrowly useful? I've been in the same guild for over 5 years. Fewer than 5-6 people in the guild know my real name. But I wouldn't mind keeping in touch with guildies that play SC2 or D3 in the future. But I'm not going to RealID friend them because it means giving out my email address and real name. This privacy breach is something I absolutely will not ever do. Period. Why can't I use a "Nickname" or "GamerTag" or "BlizzardID" to uniquely identify myself to the world?
3. Why are there no privacy options?
3a. An option to not allow friends of friends see me. I don't know those people. I don't want to know those people. I don't want them to know me. I don't want them to know I know their friend.
3b. The option to exclude characters from online presence. Not one single person in the game needs to know who my level 1 bank alts are. They certainly don't need to know when I log them. Why can't I mark toons as 'private'?

In closing. I play games to escape real life. I've never used facebook, myspace, twitter, text messaging (I don't even own a cell phone) and have no intention of ever doing so. I don't want to play World of Facebook, I want to play Blizzard games.
