Regarding an eMail.

No, I'm not talking about any suspicious eMails, but I just got off the phone with a Blizzard representative about my account being compromised, he was extremely helpful and told me he had eMailed me.

I've yet to see the eMail and I'm a tad worried.

Would this normally take more than 30 minutes? I really don't eMail if I can help it so I don't know if I'm just being paranoid.

Thanks in advance. :-)

Some providers simply do not like some of our e-mails, Zambrah, they usually end up being filtered by the spam filter or end up in a junk folder. Some are filtered out by the provider and not by any method you may have initiated.

We have some recommendations regarding specific providers in the following Support Article.

http://us.blizzard.com/support/article.xml?locale=en_US&articleId=20608

If this was the account you are talking about, the e-mail that was sent was just one on security and advice on how to keep your account and computer secure. It seems your case reporting the compromise was forwarded for investigation, our queue times are currently around 4-5 days for this queue and you should be contacted as soon as your investigation/resolution has been completed.

What message are you getting when you attempt to log in, Zambrah?

"The information you have entered is not valid." Its the generic "You've misspelled your Login ID or Password." message.

I suppose I'm just overly worried. I have full faith that I will have my account back in due time. :-)

That is the thing, Zambrah, if you are posting on the forum you should also be able to log into the game. Have you tried accessing your Battle.net account and changing your password or even tried resetting your password?

Did you try resetting your password after following the directions in the first Support Article that I linked? If your new password is being blocked by your provider, spam or junk folder, you will be unable to pick up your new password.

Hi, I am a friend of Zam, he had a problem and he asked me to post this for him:

"Sorry, I got logged out because of a quick Power Outage. I did as suggested, but cannot change my password because I lack access to my Battle.net account"

I'm talking about resetting your password, not changing it. You do not need access to the Battle.net account to have the password reset, you simply need to know the account specific information. I will initiate a password reset, which should arrive within 30 minutes. If you do not receive the e-mail it is highly likely that your provider is blocking the e-mails and you may need to contact Billing directly again and have them change it to a different address.

From Zam:

"I tried the password reset and it won't accept my eMail/name combination, is it possible it was changed? Also, are you aware I'm not using my account's original eMail? If not the new eMail is [Removed]. That might be why Im not getting any eMails."

Well there may be the problem. :) Take out the first "h". If your e-mail address is how you listed it, that would be why you haven't received anything.

Edit: Thank you for being the go between, Kanae.

THANK YOU. :-)

Woohoo! Well I don't encourage posting your e-mail address on the forums but that certainly helped clear up what was happening. Welcome back, Zambrah!
